Community, Connection and Conversation: Movember Wrap-Up

This week, ATSICHS Brisbane hosted Movember events at our Woolloongabba and Logan clinics. Both events had a good turnout, with free BBQs, giveaways, and plenty of opportunities for yarning and connecting.

These events were special because they sparked honest conversations about men’s health and showed how deeply our community cares for our men and their wellbeing. Men play a vital role in our families and communities, and this was our chance to raise awareness, honour their strength, and remind them they are valued.

Highlights from the day included:

• Deadly prizes including artefacts from Jagalingu Aboriginal Artefacts and signed All Stars Deadly Choices jerseys
• Free haircuts thanks to @atozbarbershop11 and @talkitupbarber
• Exclusive kicks from @logankicks_
• Live music from @jet.cameron, bringing the vibes
• Cupcakes by @guvicakes
• Support from Paul Jackson – Councillor Division 5 Logan City
• Energy and laughs thanks to our MC, deadly Ray Nagas
• Plenty of ATSICHS merch for the mob
