How long have you been at ATSICHS?
Five lovely years. Two years at the Murri school clinic then three years at Logan clinic.

Career background?
Mainstream GP, community health, multicultural health, women’s health and refugee health.

What prompted you work at ATSICHS?
My Aunty encouraged me to apply. ATSICHS is an esteemed and prestigious organisation with a community close to my heart.

Why do you enjoy working at ATSICHS?
I love working at ATSICHS because I like to think I am helping the community. I work with a great team of doctors, nurses, admin staff, management, CLO, drivers and social health workers and the dental team are right next door. I live and work in Logan Central. My children attend the local schools and I have known some of the local community members and families since they were children.

How are you overcoming the challenges of COVID-19?
I take one day at a time! Updates and conditions are changing daily, so I just take it one day at a time and follow the advice of public health. I have my faith, a positive attitude and we can overcome anything, especially as a team.

Hobbies outside of work?
My most recent hobby is vehicle restoration– currently working on Daihatsu Feroza 1990. I also like op shopping and visiting the recycle market at Browns Plains for retail therapy at a fraction of the cost. I like sewing (don’t get much time lately), child rearing (7 kids), travel (wishful thinking) and real estate (I mean window shopping on
