We’re proud to share our 2024-25 Annual Report, Our Community, Our Future, Our Way.
This report celebrates our achievements and highlights the extensive work we’re delivering to our community across Brisbane and Logan.
It also provides valuable insights into the key issues affecting our community and shows how we’re building stronger futures for our people – person by person, family by family, generation by generation.
Key highlights
Below are some of the key highlights of our work this year:
- 10,191 patients visited our dental services, and we launched our second Yalburru Dirun dental truck.
- We saw 58,967 patients in our medical clinics and implemented the ISoC2 Pod Model at Woolloongabba Clinic.
- Jimbelunga Nursing Centre launched onsite dental care in collaboration with our dental team.
- Our Social Health team provided 19,082 episodes of care.
- 196 women and children were supported with crisis accommodation, and we also established our Immediate Housing Response Program.
- 255 young people received case management or access to information and referral support from our Youth Service.
- Our Vulnerable Youth Service launched its Youth Outreach Housing Program.
- 1,171 community members accessed our Jajumbora Children and Family Centre programs and services.
- Our Banjilam Bareibunn program supported 42 clients in their journey.
- The number of NDIS Access applications increased by 26%.
- 206 children accessed our Burragah, Gundoo Mirra and Jajumbora Deadly Kindys.
- Our Family Wellbeing Service, Intensive Family Support and Family Participation Program supported 796 families and 1,451 children.
- The Community Connections team had 4,872 clients attend their Deadly Choices programs and stalls.
- Our Jajumbora Birthing in our Community Hub saw 184 babies born and opened a second site.
- The Brighter Futures (Extended Post Care Support) program supported 14 young adults to transition to independent living
- Nyanya Munjindei – Delegated Authority successfully returned 8 children to their parents’ care.
- Our Research team have surveyed 10,000 community members at NAIDOC over a 3-year period.
- Corporate Services launched the Grow workforce initiative and award 69 Young, Black and Proud Scholarships awarded.
