Logan community celebrates NAIDOC

This week we joined the Logan District Elders at the Kingston Butter Factory to celebrate NAIDOC.

Our Child and Family Centre, Deadly Kindy, Support Services, Primary Health, Deadly Choices and also Human Services teams represented ATSICHS Brisbane on the day. They ran boomerang painting, turtle weaving, arts and crafts activities and more. Our NAIDOC 2022 merchandise was also a big hit.

After the original event was postponed due to the weather, attendees enjoyed getting out in the sunshine to celebrate with the Logan community. 

It was a successful day filled with traditional dancing, music, stalls, games and also rides. Even our CEO Renee took a few turns down the slide. 

A big thank you to everyone involved in the event’s planning and also those who came along and helped out on the day.
