Become a member of ATSICHS Brisbane
Become a member and have your say in how we represent and serve Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities within the Brisbane and Logan regions.
We were born from the aspirations of community to provide accessible and culturally safe medical services for mob and have continued to grow from our grassroots beginnings, informed along the way by dedicated members.
Having community actively participate in the governance and direction of ATSICHS Brisbane is fundamental to our very makeup as an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled health organisation.
Members are invited to attend Annual General Meetings, where they can ask questions and vote on resolutions put forward by the Board. By becoming a member, you can also nominate yourself or other suitably qualified candidates to be appointed to the Board.
ATSICHS Brisbane maintains a high level of community oversight and accountability. Our Board is formed of local Indigenous peoples and skills-based directors who are selected to support the organisation’s strategic objectives.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander readers are advised that articles below contains the names and photos of deceased people.
