Men’s Health Tips for Movember
As Movember comes to an end we want to continue to encourage our men to take charge of their health. Our men are suffering and we need to change these statistics for our fathers, Uncles, brothers, partners and sons.
At ATSICHS Brisbane we offer health and support services that can help you take care of yourself and stay connected to mob.
Prostate Health
Early detection is a Deadly Choice!
Are you 45 or over? Come and get your PSA tested. It’s simple, it’s fast, it’s free and it could save your life.
It is recommended to have your PSA tested at least every two years.
Prostate cancer has a 98% chance of survival beyond five years if detected early.
Come see us for your men’s health check.
Mental Health
There’s no shame in talkin’ about it.
If you’re not feeling as good as you know you should, you may need to yarn to someone.
Come in for a yarn with someone from one of our clinics or reach out to a mate or Uncle.
Young or old these things can affect anyone at anytime, anywhere.
One in two men have had a mental health problem at some point in their lives.
