Update: Leadership changes to the ATSICHS Board

We are pleased to announce that Keiron Lander has been appointed as the new Chair of the ATSICHS Brisbane Board, following departure of Melody Ingra from the position. In addition, Anthony Morgan has been elected as the new Deputy Chair.

We extend our thanks to Melody Ingra for her outstanding contributions as Board Chair and Director over the past four years. Melody played a key role in shaping our strategic direction and leading major initiatives, including our 50th anniversary celebrations and the organisation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As one chapter closes, we mark the beginning of a new one with Keiron and Anthony taking on the roles of Chair and Deputy Chair.

Keiron is a proud Mithaka and Dieri Karna who has worked across various Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Queensland over the past decade, implementing and managing the statewide preventative health strategy, Deadly Choices. Keiron has dedicated his time to volunteering on community and non-profit boards, as well as mentoring young Indigenous individuals. His experiences have equipped him with essential leadership qualities and skills in governance, finance, and strategy. Keiron continues to apply these skills in his current roles at Young Guns Crew and the charity Orange Sky, where he provides cultural leadership and contributes to meaningful initiatives.

Anthony has extensive operational and management experience across the not-for-profit sector in the areas of Mental Health, Disability, Child Safety and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health organisations. He has worked with many community-controlled health organisations and has a strong belief in the right to self-determination. His expertise lies in corporate service functions, particularly finance and human resource management.

We welcome Keiron and Anthony to their new roles and look forward to working together in the future.
