10 years of commitment to our community

From her first role as senior assessment writer for our old Foster and Kinship Care program, to front-line, manager and operations manager roles across almost all of our Community Services teams, AYS Program Manager Kylie is a very familiar face at ATSICHS Brisbane.

Of all the roles she’s held in her decade of service at ATSICHS Brisbane, her time in Family Wellbeing South has been a particular highlight.

“Entering the team and working together to increase the quality of the service delivery to vulnerable families and learning how passionate and skilled our workforce is, was challenge, but also very rewarding,” she said.

Through her flexible approach and ability to adapt her leadership style to suit the variety of teams she has managed, Kylie has cemented herself as a compassionate, confident and dedicated leader.

“I am so grateful to be a part of something that is not only impactful for our community, but part of the legacy of change that will last well past my time.”

10 years after her first day at ATSICHS Brisbane, Kylie is still passionate and committed to the people she works for and with.

“The community we serve is my main driver. I’m also grateful to be a part of teams that have strong values in serving our community.”

For those just starting out with the organisation, Kylie has some great wisdom to share.

“Try everything! You’ll be presented with so many opportunities to grow, personally and professionally – grab each one of those chances!”

For Kylie, the best way to continue making an impact through the work she does is by continuing to show up and strive to do her best work each and every day.
