Meet our new Finance Administrator Moeisha

We caught up for a chat with Moeisha, our new Finance Administrator, and learnt a bit about her background and interests. Check out the Q&A below.

Could you please share a little about yourself?

I’m proud Bundjalung/Yidinji woman from Northern NSW from a little town called Casino. I’m the youngest of five children and I’ve been lucky enough to have two amazing parents that have instilled in me how to be a respectful and diligent person. I love working hard and learning new things. I enjoy playing rugby union, cooking/baking and going for drives to the beach. 

How long have you been at ATSICHS Brisbane?

I’ve been at ATSICHS for one month.

Can you tell us more about your new role?

I’m the new Finance Administrator and what my job entails is collaborating and supporting the Finance team, monitoring the emails we receive, trying to assist with any queries from other team members and maintaining the filing systems for the Finance team.

What are you looking forward to most in your new role?

I’m looking forward to having a better understanding of what it’s like to be a Finance Administrator and to gain newer skills and knowledge within the ATSICHS organisation. And to be open minded for any other opportunities that may come within the role.

Why did you choose to work for ATSICHS Brisbane?

The reason why I chose to work at ATSICHS is because I love being in an organisation that helps provide the best services for our Mob. I’m so grateful to be working at ATSICHS.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy playing rugby union on the weekends and socialising with close family and friends. 

If you were an animal, which animal would you be and why?

I would chose to be a butterfly because they are the symbolism of personal transformation, change, hope and courage.

What is your most unique talent?

I can play the bass guitar.
