Meet our Facilities Administrator Ffi

Ffion Pope hit the ground running when she joined the Finance and Assets team as Facilities Administrator a few months back. She has been helping keep everything operating smoothly across our sites from lifts to plumbing, air conditioning and more.

Check out the Q&A with Ffi below.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I am 20 years old, and I am a proud Kullilli woman. I was born in the United Kingdom, Wales, in a town called Newport. My family and I moved to Australia when I was three.

How long have you been at ATSICHS Brisbane?

I have been at ATSICHS Brisbane for four months now.

Why did you choose to work for ATSICHS Brisbane?

The idea of working and contributing to our culture and our people’s needs.

Could you tell us more about what your role involves?

I am the Facilities Administrator for ATSICHS Brisbane. My role involves organising contractors to attend sites and resolve issues including general maintenance, mechanical and aircon, plumbing, electrical, fire, security and alarms systems, pest control, external gates and boom gates, lifts, and many more.

I am also in the process of launching our new facilities portal. I really enjoy helping our people and meet many new faces along the way. It is pleasure to be a part of such a fundamental organisation.

What is the most rewarding part of your role?

The amazing feedback I receive from other staff and sites. It lets me know that people genuinely appreciate the work that I do.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love going to the beach and spending time with my friends and family doing fun activities.

If you were an animal, which animal would you be and why?

Cheetah because who wouldn’t want to be the fastest animal in the world.

What is your most unique talent?

I am double jointed and can do some cool tricks.
