Making an appointment
To make an appointment call our clinic receptionists on (07) 3240 8900. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preferred time. Longer consultations are available if needed.
If you have a preferred practitioner that you would like to see you can also request this at the time of making your appointment.
Attending your appointment
When you arrive for your appointment, please make sure you advise reception. They will ask you for identification. Correct patient identification is vital for patient safety and the maintenance of confidentiality.
Cancelling your appointment
If you are unable to attend a scheduled appointment please phone us on (07) 3240 8900 and let us know. You can help us by ensuring all your contact details are up to date.
We do accept walk in appointments, however booked appointments and emergencies will always take first priority.
We can provide appointments over the phone or over video call.
What you’ll need for a video call:
- smartphone, tablet or computer
- web camera, speakers and microphone (smartphones, tablets and laptops will usually have these in-built)
- web browser (such as Google Chrome, Apple Safari or Internet Explorer)
- internet connection
- space so that you can talk privately.

Please note that if there are no concerns with your test results, you will not receive a call from our clinic. However, if your results are abnormal or your doctor recommends further follow up, we will contact you and ask you to make an appointment with one of our doctors.
We may also contact patients that require review as a recall. All contact relating to recall patients is documented in the patient file for future reference. Patients contacted as part of a recall are strongly advised to attend follow up appointments. If the review is urgent one of our nurses or doctors will contact you.
Also, we provide training for medical and nursing students. We will ask your permission for students to be present during your consultation.
